Outdoor World - Scotrun Campground

The obliging operators of the campground and the great quantity of fun things to do beat anything. Outdoor world Resort is a very popular campground with the folks from Scotrun. Scores of folks stay here for the purpose of being near Big Pocono State Park. There are so many enjoyable things near Outdoor world Resort; it's one of those locations where everything is pleasant. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Don't leave Outdoor world Resort without first going for a hike along the Snow Shanty Trail, and while you're here, you could also check out wonderful Leisure Lake. All the wonderful local attractions in close proximity and the close by outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back again and again. As if Outdoor world Resort wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so probably you want to stick around for a while. Paddling on Brodhead Creek is so much fun, and going for a hike on the Lakeside Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Visiting Delaware National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paradise Creek, and why not take a little tour to Transue Run while you're here. As long as you have a thing about the outdoors you will have a thing about Pennsylvania. Outdoor world Resort is a rather wet place typically with a large amount of rain; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. The Indian Trail is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Outdoor world Resort, and lots of people from Scotrun come here. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Outdoor world Resort has it all. The sights at Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind; Outdoor world Resort is in the neighborhood of Big Pocono State Park which is a beautiful place. This campground has so unbelievably much. Whitewater paddling is nice on Pocono Creek, and Whitestone Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Near Outdoor world Resort you locate the Camelback Trail which is a great hiking trail; you can spot Deer Mountain from Outdoor world Resort. High temperatures at Outdoor world Resort during the months of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Outdoor world Resort tend to be in the 10's. Why not explore a swamp like Huckleberry Swamp while you're here at Outdoor world Resort, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Airy Lodge is pretty near. Go for a hike on the Burley Inlet Trail, and when you're here it's always fun to check out Tobyhanna State Park.
